Brexit trade treaty: why is the EU Parliament not ratifying yet?

Because of the dispute over the Brexit rules for Northern Ireland, the European Parliament is not pushing the ratification of the trade pact with Great Britain for the time being.

Brexit happened on January 31st 2020 when the United Kingdom formally left the institutions of the European Union. And I give you some outside views on it.
